Read Ephesians 1:1-2

Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, to the saints who are in Ephesus, and are faithful in Christ Jesus:
Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Thoughts to consider:
The Apostle Paul was quite clear he was called to be an Apostle, (see Acts 9)
- Do you know what you have been called to? Maybe take a few moments to consider what God has gifted you in, bearing in mind that everybody has a part to play in God’s church.
- Do you see yourself as a ‘saint’? If you are a Christian, that is what you are, take a few minutes to consider what that means.
- What does it mean to be ‘Faithful in Christ Jesus’?
- As you go to church today, consider that God has given you grace and peace. How will that help you to worship?
Thank you Father that you have called me to be a part of your kingdom. Help me to further discover, this year, my part to play in it. Thank you for your wonderful gifts of grace and peace which sustain me each day. Help me to be ever thankful for them. In Jesus’ name. Amen
